Usually sold in pot, as a juvenile, low and leafy plant, has no distinctive characters of an adult plant. In many gardens, it starts very slowly. It forms big and solid culms and a beautiful dark green foliage. The diameter of the tuft, in its upper part, is four times greater than that of the base, and willing on a regular basis stubble clearly draw silhouette range.
